Help accelerate the fight against poverty-related diseases
FIND is a non-profit organization driving the development and implementation of accurate and affordable diagnostic tests that can be used where patients in high endemic regions first seek care.
- With the collaboration of various public and private partners, FIND is developing tests to more effectively diagnose poverty-related diseases. The Foundation’s mission is driven by the conviction that good health is central to winning the war against poverty and that correct diagnosis is a crucial first step towards establishing health and controlling the spread of disease.
- To be able to continue its efforts over time, we need the support of various partners. We have benefitted from the generous support of foundations, governments and companies but we also welcome contributions, small or large, from private individuals.
- Your contribution will be applied directly to supporting FIND’s research and development projects, and later to important evaluation work that is being carried out at numerous trial sites in developing countries.

Tax deductions
As a charitable foundation under Swiss law, FIND enjoys complete exemption from Swiss federal direct tax for donations from a foreign taxpayer and a 70% exemption for donations from Swiss taxpayers. Furthermore, if you are a Swiss taxpayer, your donation can be deducted for federal income tax purposes - up to 20% of taxable income for corporate entities and private individuals (to the extent they exceed CHF 100 per taxable period). The allowable deduction for cantonal income tax purposes depends on cantonal law which generally varies between 10% and 20% of the taxable income.
