“Vinand has been instrumental in guiding international health programs for infectious diseases and has extensive experience in working with the public and private sectors as well as affected communities throughout the world to turn resources into progress,” said Dr. Giorgio Roscigno, CEO of FIND. “Vinand will play an important role in FIND’s work with external agencies and will help guide and oversee the FIND’s demonstration projects to develop new but affordable diagnostic tests for tuberculosis, sleeping sickness and other infectious diseases.”

"Vinand has played an invaluable role at the Global Fund as a senior advisor, representative, ambassador, and spokesperson. He has very ably represented the Global Fund on the governing bodies of a number of our partners, particularly Roll Back Malaria and Stop TB. Vinand will maintain a close relationship with the Global Fund, and we expect to continue to benefit from his guidance and wisdom," said Professor Richard G A Feachem, Executive Director of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Prior to joining the Global Fund, Dr. Nantulya served as senior research scientist in international health, at Harvard School of Public Health.
