Dedication

Our first malaria newsletter is dedicated to our friend and colleague, Dr. Ebi Kalahi Kimanani, who died from the very disease she worked to combat. Ebi contracted malaria while visiting clinical trial sites in Kenya in 2005. Her lifelong contribution to malaria control continues to be an inspiration to many around the world. At FIND, we are trying to build on her untiring efforts to establish R&D capacity in disease endemic countries.
