Dr. Sylvain Biéler |

Dr Sylvain Biéler joined FIND in February 2007
as Project Manager to work closely with the
Senior Medical Officer, Quality Assurance &
Regulatory Affairs. His responsibilities are to
assist FIND Project Leaders in project
management as well as in quality management and
regulatory affairs.
After studying biology at the University of
Geneva and King’s College of London, Dr. Biéler
joined the pharmaceutical company Serono in Geneva.
There he held different positions, first in
research, where he was involved in the development
of a diagnostic test for prion diseases as well as
new drugs to treat Alzheimer’s disease, and later in
the scientific publications department where he
worked as a Publication Project Associate.
Prior to joining FIND, Dr. Biéler was an Assistant
at the Department of Pathology and Immunology at the
University of Geneva from which he obtained a Ph.D.
in cell biology. His experience also includes
serving as Research Assistant at the Department of
Neurology of the University of Texas Medical Branch.
